The following Student Center facilities are available for reservation.
Ballroom
The Ballroom is our most popular venue. The Ballroom is distinguished by large polished brass chandeliers and purple drapes which enhances the look of the room. The Ballroom is used for lectures, workshops, conferences, meetings, meals, and entertainment. It can seat up to 500 people and provide space to service 300 meals. We also have Ballroom extensions (215/216) located to the rear of the Ballroom which extends our capacity to more than 500 people and not to exceed 600 people. The Ballroom is wired for computer T1/LAN connection.
Rooms 202 & 203
These meeting rooms are very bright, airy and comfortable. Each will accommodate approximately 28 people lecture style. These rooms are outfitted with a screen and a dry-erase board.
Room 204
Another bright, airy room which will accommodate 28 people lecture style or 18 people conference style. This room is equipped with a screen and a dry erase board.
Rooms 205 & 206
The Richardson Room is unique in that the room may be used as one large room or two smaller rooms. This two-in-one room can accommodate approximately 100 people lecture style as one room or 50 people lecture style with the wooden divider closed.
Rooms 207 & 209 (The Woodson Room)
The Woodson Room is our second most popular room. The room is frequently used for luncheons, meetings, and receptions. Lovely floral wall paper, paneling and variable lighting provide a perfect setting for formal occasions. The Woodson Room is also a unique two in one room accommodating approximately 110 people. Room 207 is wired for computer T1/LAN connection.
Student Center 211
This room is referred to as our "International Room." The room is located on the second floor and is used frequently for conference setting and luncheons for groups of 15-20 people. Two large walls of windows provide plenty of natural light to enhance the cultural artifacts.
Student Center 222
This room serves as the House of Student Representatives' Chamber. The room is located on the second floor of the Student Center and is set in workshop seating for 90.
Student Center 111
Student Center 111 is one of the newest rooms located on the first floor of the Student Center in Suite 111 (formerly the University Bookstore). The unique "C" shape of the room, in addition to the large conference table and comfortable purple plush chairs, makes 111 a popular choice for meetings and luncheons for 14-16 people.
Rooms B08 & B09
These rooms are located in the newly remodeled Student
Organization's area in the basement of the Student Center. Each room accommodates 15 to 25 people depending on setup preference.
