The $100 million Campus Commons project is transforming the heart of TCU. Created as a part of Vision in Action, the Commons is designed to create an environment rich in personal interaction where intellectual vitality and social engagement intersect; develop an eclectic living environment where students of different cultures and values learn from one another; reclaim the university's history of a residential, pedestrian-friendly campus; and provide expanded facilities for excellent academic programs.
Anchoring the Campus Commons will be the new Brown-Lupton University Union. The Union, which will replace the current Brown-Lupton Student Center, is designed to be TCU’s main meeting and gathering point. Situated on Stadium Drive just across from Daniel Meyer Coliseum and Amon G. Carter Stadium, the Brown-Lupton University Union will feature breathtaking architecture and provide many new amenities for the TCU community. Some of these amenities include:
