Guest Service Associate
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for ensuring that each visitor to the University Union has an outstanding experience during their time in the facility. Associates will actively greet and assist individuals in the Union, answer the telephone, provide prompt and courteous customer service, respond to questions and provide thorough information regarding the Union, TCU, and the Fort Worth community. Guest Service Associates will enforce University Union and TCU policies and will assist staff in maintaining a safe, professional, and hospitable environment for all visitors. Some evening and weekend availability is preferred.
Qualifications: Guest Service Associates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; general computer knowledge; the ability to interact with a diverse population; a willingness to learn; a positive attitude; and a strong work ethic. Cash handling and previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
Union Tour Guide
The Union Tour Guide is responsible for conducting organized tours of the University Union facility. Guides will serve as the public face of the Union and will provide visitors with specialized knowledge and facts about all areas of the Union. The Union Tour Guide is a temporary position ending no later than Thanksgiving break.
Qualifications: Union Tour Guides should possess excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to engage in conversation with a diverse population; active listening skills; a willingness to learn; the capability of portraying TCU and the Union in a positive light; and the ability to retain facts and information about the University Union and TCU.
